The Colony sits along Lewisville Lake south of Frisco. It's one of the older cities we cover, and its permit threshold for repairs is very different from Frisco's. Call (469) 430-0986 or send the form for a local fence contractor.

A 1970s city
The Colony began in 1973 as a planned community of single-family homes built by Fox and Jacobs, with the first residents moving in during 1974. By 1980 it had 11,586 people. That makes its housing among the oldest of the cities we cover.
The Colony's permit rule
The city's "Do I Need a Permit?" sheet (rev. 05/26) says: "A permit is required to repair or replace any part of a fence more than 50%. Any new fence or gate installation requires a permit." That's a much higher repair threshold than Frisco's two sections or 16 feet, so fixing a long stretch may not need a permit here, while a new gate does.
