Master-planned neighborhoods
Wikipedia says most Little Elm residents live in single-family homes, "usually in master-planned subdivisions built between the late 1990s and late 2010s." So an original fence in one of the older subdivisions could now be more than twenty-five years old. If your neighborhood has an HOA, check its fence rules before you price a style or stain color.
Permits
We couldn't find a published Town of Little Elm fence document to summarize, so we won't guess at heights or thresholds. Ask the town's building safety division before you build, and remember that, according to Texas811, Texas law requires a call to 811 at least two business days before digging.
For comparison, Frisco, Prosper and Lewisville all cap residential fences at 8 feet; see their pages for details.
Other cities: Frisco, Prosper, Celina, The Colony, Lewisville. All areas.
