Lewisville's fence requirements
From the city's Residential Fence Requirements handout (updated 1/1/2024):
- "Any new fence or replacement fence exceeding 10% of the total fence in length requires a permit."
- "No fence shall exceed eight (8) feet in height measured from the finished grade."
- If a contractor is used, the contractor must be registered with the City of Lewisville.
- A permit fee is due before the permit is issued.
- The handout points to the city ordinance for clear vision areas at corners and driveways.
